FACIAL BEAUTY OILS
As a regular user of Face Oils for almost a decade now it’s safe to say that I am hooked. I love oils so much that I’ve incorporated them into my daily routine by using hair oils, cleansing oils, and body oils, My skin isn't as likely to break out as it used to; and I have crazy combination skin that can be either the oiliest slickest of t-zones or just as dry and flaky there as well. So, its safe to say that the use of oil on my face was scary at first but after trail and error I’ve found my perfect blend, method, and timing and so will you. Despite the popularity of face oils, I realize that there are still plenty of people out there who are just as intimidated and possibly turned off as I was. You have to figure out which face oil is right for your skin, and start slowly with one drop at a time. All skin types can benefit from skin oils. Facial oils are absorbed quickly and an excellent way to get antioxidants and vitamins deeply into the skin. J21 Skin Care has expertly formulated Huile de Luxe Facial Oil that can be used on all skin types in as many different ways as you can imagine.
Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your Facial Oils
Check out the ingredients: Look for natural, botanical, and organic oils. Avoid any with chemical additives or preservatives. High quality Facial Oils will not leave your skin feeling oily or greasy.
Applying Facial Oil: Take a tiny amount, start with a drop as a begining point. Warm the oil gently in your hands and press lightly into your face, breathe in the natural aroma. Don't forget your neck and décolleté.
Facial oils can be used twice a day, morning under or over makeup and evening Many people prefer to use them as an intensive night treatment before bed.
With your sunscreen: Facial Oils contain antioxidants that will help protect against free radicals. Oils also contain the antioxidant vitamin E, which helps smooth existing wrinkles. It's found in pomegranate sea buckthorn, and camellia oils. Even though most facial oils contain antioxidants, you never want to wear them without sunscreen during the day. It's because oils also reflect light, making you susceptible to sun damage unless you pair them with sunscreen or a moisturizer with SPF 15 or higher.
As a Highlighter: Sometimes you just want that dewy glow without added shimmer. Perhaps your foundation is too matte or you overdid it with the powder. Simply put a drop of oil in your hands warm it lightly and then press it on the parts of your face that you want to highlight like cheekbones, brow bone, chin and cupids bow. This method also works great for highlighting shins to make your legs look more toned.
With Your Acne Treatments: The use of benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to treat acne can dry out your skin. And when your skin is dry your acne treatment doesn't penetrate as well. Help to prevent dryness and maintain moisture by layering a small amount of oil on top.
With your Moisturizer: Mix a small drop into your favorite moisturizer for an added boost. My favorite way is to add a drop or two on top of my moisturizer or serum to seal in moisture and soften the appearance of fine lines. It also gives you a healthy glow!
