BENEFITS EXFOLIATION

Fact: Skin is the largest organ of your body the most visible and also one of the most delicate. Pollution, daily and seasonal abuse, diet, lack of sleep, harsh skin care products, and artificial light can and will can all wreak havoc on your skin if you don’t care for it properly.

Without regular exfoliation you’ll accumulate an abundance of dead surface skin cells, which create clogged pores, discoloration, lines and wrinkles. Un-exfoliated skin will be left dull, lifeless and prematurely aged.

Benefits of Exfoliation

You should be exfoliating at least twice a week to keep your skin glowing and youthful. It will allow the other products to penetrate deeper and work better. Exfoliation detoxifies skin, Brightens the complexion, removes dead, dull skin cells to reveal healthy, younger skin. You will also reduce fine lines and sun damage, improve skin tone and help prevent breakouts.

Men and women of all ages are plagued by acne and while they are effective in destroying the bacteria that causes acne most acne products dry out the skin. These products can be very harsh creating excessive dry skin, which acts as a barrier trapping more oil into the skin creating a new cycle of breakouts. Exfoliation is necessary to remove the dead surface cells and release excess oils and keratin allowing your acne products to work better and more efficiently.

Dry and dehydrated skin craves moisture. Dry skin can also be very sensitive as well. Using heavy crèmes and moisturizers can make our skin feel better temporarily but will only lead to more issues if we don’t remove the dry surface layer. Doing so will allow your crème to work harder for you, it may also allow you to use lighter moisturizers that will work just as well.
